Services… engaging with soul

Throughout the variety of “hats” I have performed, whether as a lawyer, management consultant, business developer, stakeholder manager, and now as oriental medicine practitioner; the base is my communication skills.

In the creative process of delivering a talk, creating and listening music, cooking and eating; communication is precious art.

Music and food have been my balms and nurture for my health and acupuncture became my “motor y motivo”

like in the song of Grupo 5.  The mix of acupuncture, food and music have saved me many times.

Hence, my commitment to honour and serve LatinAmerican musical bands/solos and world chefs and resturants’ teams.

Talks or programs include questions that raise self-awareness and step-by-step guide to design a simple strategy with innovative approaches, that focuses on prevention to maintain a healthy physical and emotional life as well as to promote a good team performance to achieve the organisation’s business goals while honouring the person’s view on happiness.

Cooking

For Chefs & Restaurants’ team

Are you a chef or a restaurant team nurturing us permanently or on a tour?

To honour you, your team, and your families, for being the comfort for our spirits, I will team up with you by providing soulful treatments that will look after your physical and emotional health for you to keep on preserving your grounding roots while delivering deliciousness.

What to expect?

More than a service,

… a transformative experience

During each face-to-face session, as part of the Oriental Medicine approach, I will take your medical history, read your pulses, examine the site of your symptoms, and look at your tongue.

Your individual treatment plan will be based on your state of health, both constitutionally and current lifestyle. We will decide which combination of points is right for your whole body and mind as well as your symptoms. Together, we will decide the treatment priority, whether to treat only the symptoms (biao) or to treat both the ben (root) and biao. This will guide the treatment principle and the point selection.

Needles are inserted not only into the area of physical pain (local points), also into distal or adjacent points. For emotional issues, needles are inserted in different point of the body depending on the main feeling that is causing the issue.

Sometimes acupuncture needles are inserted for just a second or two, or you may be left to rest for a while before the needles are removed. This depends case by case (from 15 to 25 min).

The needles are so fine that most people don't feel them being inserted. It is normal to feel a mild tingle/ itchy or dull ache as I adjust the needle. Many people feel deeply relaxed during the treatment.

If you book add-ons such Qi Gong and Dietary advice (Yangsheng-lifestyle advice), those will be done after removing the needles at the end of your acupuncture session.

Normally, people will have a course of treatment. Weekly or monthly sessions are quite usual to begin with, for perhaps six to eight treatments, reducing in frequency as your body responds, or to switch to another area you would like to addressed as part of your Journey of Transformation as you navigate through the unknown waters of your personal physical and spiritual evolution.

To be or not to be…

    My story (1)

… and I always choose to be Jenny Tsuboyama, a Peruvian-Japanese who like a sponge, has absorbed the best of all the cultures respecting and engaging with all of them, constantly looking to be a bridge between people to create social value, business growth and personal enlightenment. I am passionate about raising awareness and empowering people through transformational leadership, empathy and resilience to achieve your business and personal goals and to carry on your own healing.

I started working as a lawyer for 11+ years, followed by 13+ years in management consultancy- learning and depelopment. I have lived and worked in UK, Latin America, South East Asia, Middle East and North Africa. I have driven outcomes in Corporate, Government, SMEs and entrepreneurship sectors, through consulting, coaching & training on areas focused on Innovation and Change Management, Project Management, Business Model Generation, Business Development, Strategy Execution, Research & Alignment to Policies & Law, Events & Communications, Stakeholder Management.

All the skills I have acquired in my previous chapters and professional backgrounds, such strategy, communications, research, attention to both the big picture and to the small details, among others; are transferable and have been very useful in my current work, for instance my excellent the diagnostic are powered by my detective skills, my sounded treatment plan benefits from my strategy skills . An integrated me…

      My story (2)

It has been every decade as I  embraced uncertainty since child to expand my perspectives, developing resilience constantly.

Like in Aretha Franklin’s song, those were my same old coats, shoes and behaviours, until oh! Oriental Medicine touched my life to raise me like a phoenix after another chapter of ashes.

I have had an affinity with Chinese medicine and acupuncture, first through my father, who in his last years of life was assisting an acupuncturist and through my periodic treatments as a patient, for all sorts of reasons (whether PMS, back/neck pain due to desk work, emotional shocks, migraines, sadness / frustration / overwhelmed, colds / coughs, tears due to physical or emotional pains). I have confirmed my love for this “magical art” healing, as it does not only treats the body in its physical realm, the emotional and spirit aspects can be addressed too.

I am thrilled that I have started this new chapter in my 40th year journey. This chapter is divided in incremental stages. Since childhood I have been pulled towards the use of energy (qi), giving to others unconditionally within a healthy boundary. Passing to adulthood, teachers/mentors/colleagues have recognised qualities for coaching people due to my active listening, empathy, non-judgemental and caring attitude.

How can I help you in your own journey? Fancy a “me time”? You got it!

Looking forward to listening to you and together discover the hidden treasures within you and/or polish them to release, let go and/or excel and to be able to relate well with your family, your colleagues, your friends and most important , with yourself!

I feel calm and relaxed after her treatments. I feel listened to and my main health concerns addressed in a knowledgeable and compassionate way. I am amazed by Jenny’s ability to analyse a lot of information and distil it into a focussed treatment. She truly cares about people. She has a very ‘can do’ attitude, working with me in a positive way to achieve my health goals”
